ENDOGO® Portable Endoscopic Imaging System

endogo® Portable Endoscopic Imaging System

The endogo® portable endoscopic imaging system is the world's first hand-held, battery-operated video camera with integrated viewing and archiving capability designed for the busy medical professional. The endogo® system is a personal endoscopic imaging system for the capture, storage and sharing of endoscopic imaging data.

The endogo® system can be used with existing rigid and optical flexible endoscopes in any clinical setting; the OR, office, clinics, ward, and emergency room. Endoscopy wherever you go!

Once the camera is turned on, it is ready for live viewing of an examination on the LCDLCD screen. Examination may continue without recording, or the endoscopist may take video or still photos of the anatomy, and capture voice recordings to annotate clinical findings. Those images can then be easily reviewed with patients and colleagues.

Video compression in DV quality is performed using MPEG-4 video compression and stills are compressed using a JPEG algorithm. After use, images may be transported from the removable flash RAMRAM drive (SD or USB) or transmitted via USB-2 to another computing device.

Image viewing may also be performed live via the USB-2 cable to a computing device or via the AV output to a compatible video monitor.*
