Bob Blankemeyer has served as President of Medtronic Xomed since July of 2000. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Medtronic Sofamor Danek. With over 27 years in the surgical device industry, Bob brings considerable management experience to guide Medtronic Xomed's strategy and future direction.

Prior to joining Medtronic, Bob was President and CEO of Advanced BioSurfaces and President and Chief Operating Officer of Storz Ophthalmics, Bausch & Lomb Surgical.

Bob received a bachelor's degree in marketing/management from The University of Cincinnati, with graduate studies completed at Stanford University.
